It's rare to see litter in the Alamo Hts area but this morning it was EVERYWHERE. I was up during the storm and the wind that hit right before the rain was insane! On Nacogdoches rd through the Northwoods area I had to dodge and entire bag of trash.

Default Coldest ever for May

FORECAST: Coldest ever for May? | WOAI: San Antonio News

"We might make some history the next couple of nights with record low temperatures likely tonight and possible tomorrow night. In fact we might be recording an even more historic accomplishment if we get below 43 degrees either night. The coldest reading ever in San Antonio for any day in May is 43 degrees."

I am loving this weather. First time in years I had a hot chocolate when it was appropriate for this time of year.

Default Wonderful, soaking, traffic snarling RAIN!!!!

I was stuck in terrible traffic today on 1604 where several 18 wheelers had jack knifed near Blanco Rd area...and mad as you know what until I took the time to be GRATEFUL for this much needed rain. Sorry for the accidents, the problems created for some...but so grateful for the much needed rainfall that benefits the rest of us!!!!

My wife always says "People from San Antonio can't drive in weather."

No, I didn't forget the adjective.

I hope Medina Lake got a good bit. I know they need about 1,000 times more to get that level back up. I could do without the road flooding though. Some crazy videos of roads flooded posted on Facebook by WOAI.

Paka: Glad you made it home safely. Based on the time of your post, it looks like you avoided the worst of it.

Was actually stuck in the worst of it...in all my years of living here I NEVER saw so much standing water ON 1604 that I was afraid my car would stall....but between 281 and Blanco Rd that is EXACTLY what I experienced.

My life is now dedicated to my darling baby sister who is now fighting stage 4 esophageal cancer....anything else is meaningless to me right now.....
