What a beautiful rain and thunderstorm we enjoyed this morning...got up at 3:30 just to watch it. Almost 5am now and still raining here in Westcreek altho the bulk of it has certainly passed.

Doggie will sure be happy when it stops completely, she thinks she is made of sugar and will melt if she gets wet! LOL

I woke last night to the sound of thunder. How far off, I sat and wondered?

What a great night's sleep! I know what you mean, Paka.....my dog acts like a princess when it's wet, too.

This morning on my way into SA I noticed the grass was greener on the sides of the road.
Still not a drop at my house

Yeah, my plants are happier this morning, too....something about that rain water. The blooms are brighter and fuller.

Could it be, no you cannot tell me it is so, to wake up this morning and find what is this? wetness under my feet, shining dew upon my grass? I thought I was still asleep but alas I realized I was awake and it had RAINED!

I thought I missed this round of rain and I went to bed. When I woke up this morning there was 1 1/4 inches of rain in the guage. And it was 70 degrees outside. All Right!!

Thunder. Lightening. Between 3AM-6AM.
Rain? What's that? Got barely a sprinkle

At least the aquifer got some.
