Was sad to see it closed, a cool place to hang out. The place that took over it has already closed.

Wow! Can you believe that we used to dress like that?

Ok I am a guy but I used to like to wear Bell bottoms. The first pair I got was at Murpheys in Central Park. There were these little clothing stores around SAC that were once gas stations. You could get real Levis and Bell Bottoms there too. Bell Bottoms turned into Boot cut but they weren't the same. I don't know if you can still get boot cut. I haven't been to Sheplers in awhile.

I love boot cut - I think jeans with a slight flare are much more flattering. You can still get them.

I remember a very short stint with bells rapidly switching to western attire! Never looked back! Love the 70's though!

Yes, but if you remember those days, it wasn't about the factuality or not of the stories,
it was about the telling of them.
I would love anybody's input into such tales here or otherwise. I added some of my own
knowledge to the first link of the MM you posted.

I ordered the CD from Amazon. What surprised me was that Dirty Mary Crazy Larry was filmed in part in Lacoste and on the Macdona Lacoste Rd. Lacoste is south west of San Antonio. It is about ten miles west of 1604 and Southwest Highschool. Unlike Potranco road in the "Race with the Devil" movie, Lacoste hasn't changed a bit!
