Default New Coffee Shop in Boerne

Boerne has a new coffee shop! Electric Coffee. Good coffee; I like the logo. Was wondering when someone was going to start another dedicated coffee shop in town.

Saw a billboard promoting the new tenants for the shopping center being built off 151 and potranco . Saw Wendy's, pollo tropical, and pollo loco. Didn't catch the rest as I drove by .Anyone know the full slate??

Another one? I must be in the small minority of people who think this place is overrated. The best thing here are the pickles. Those ribs are sad, and the brisket is touch and go...consistency goes a long way. The mac n cheese...is no better than the shells n cheese out the box. Given there is a legit chef backing this place, I'd expect the sides to be a bit more elevated, hell good even.

Good for him. I'd rather he stick to BBQ; his interpretation of Asian cuisine was pretty bad.

It's all in perspective...

I'm all for a local chef like Dady opening up a new spot rather than yet another chain eatery, serving the same thing you can get at dozens of other places around here.

Because I do not like his BBQ or his failed Umai Mi...does not mean I'm advocating for more chain restaurants. Quite the reach, but right on, lol. If the food being served is no better than a chain restaurant then what does that say about the chef?

I'm all for local chefs putting out well thought out and well executed concepts rather than half-assed attempts.

Having been to both Umi Mi and Two Bros, I can't say I feel any excitement that Dady is opening another restaurant. His BBQ is not that much better than Dickey's BBQ IMHO.

As for the pickles you mentioned, I never had them at Two Bros, but Umi Mi had these anise star flavored pickles and they were the only thing I really liked there.

Perhaps Dady should get into the pickle business only.

Someone posted this link last year. I'm sure things have changed since then.

I never said you did... Settle down kid.

I was stating my opinion, not speculating on yours

I don't think you can beat the Cherry Glazed Ribs at Two Brothers. Glad to see Jason open another location closer to work so I can make it in for lunch.
