Dickey's is America's largest BBQ chain. I find it to be less like cafeteria food than Bill Miller's, but it's every bit as formulaic.

Went to the one (Dickey's) on TPC (long gone, replaced by....Dunkin' Donuts, thank God!!!) a few times several years back...

Low traffic meant few sides available, dried out meats. They did have yummy rolls, though.

Between Dickey's and Bill Millers, I prefer Bill Millers. There are many in town that are better than those two though.

Went to Dickey's on Bandera rd. once.
Once was enough. Brisket dry and bland, pulled pork was ok, but dry.
Sides were nothing to talk about.
What is it with bbq places? Brisket is NOT a delicasy. All overpriced for what you get.

Dickies is pretty good. The problem is there are so many better option in San Antonio. I am living out of state right now and there are not that many great BBQ choices but there is Dickies and I am happy to have it.
