Now for a nice surprise. It was about 5:30 pm and most shops and restaurants were closing or already closed. A neat hideaway, Ino'z (pronounced Eye-nose) was open until 8 on Sunday.

This guy didn't seem to pleased with the camera flashing...

This sweet waitress agreed to allow her pic taken...

Food was good, ambience- excellent, waitress-excellent, 3 1/2 out of 4 stars... is my judgement!!! And I finished my plate...

That's my report on Ino'z and I'm sticking to it. It sits on a wooden deck overlooking Cypress Creek...

I miss new berlin.

Yea forgot to mention 775 was under construction.

La Vernia might have more for you to photo graph. Most houses are south on 775.

But once again if i could give you more rep i would but you have to spread it around.

Hello,

Thanks gy2020.

Sitting here in Baghdad, you brought a little bit of home to my present surroundings.

Have you ever gone to Nelson City, Welfare, Waring, Sisterdale?

Great old buildings and the Guadalupe.

p.s. My ranch is just up the hill from the Waring General Store. I love driving around just like you obviously do.

Thanks again.

crazedchef: That's the best response yet and just for you I will make my next stop in Waring, TX. Be safe in Baghdad and may all your brothers and sisters be safe too. I'm proud of what you are doing. Come home soon!

crazedchef: try to describe the location of your ranch and I will try and get a picture of it. Here is a map quest of the area:

Hello Again,

My ranch is pretty large. You cannot see anything from Waring/Welfare rd. except a bunch of trees.

It's just up the road from the Waring General Store, at the top of the hill. My house is way up on the hill, like I said, you can't see anything from the road.

My Dad looks after the place while I am over here.

Just a lot of great scenery between Waring and Sisterdale if you take the back rds.

Have a great trip.

p.s. Stop by on a weekend daytime (I believe they are open then) at the Welfare General store, fantastic food. Actually, that IS the entire town of Welfare. Also, if you see John at the Nelson City Dance Hall, say hello to him from me, he'll know who it is.

later,

crazedchef

crazed chef: is your ranch between Waring and Zoeller Ln? I'll still take a pan on the road and get picks of the trees for you.
