I thought that the cupcakes there were quite stale and very expensive, although they were beautiful and the store is quite attractive. At Cupcake Junction, the store is not as......ummm.... "upscale" and the cupcakes are displayed in a more disorganized fashion. However, much fresher and more reasonably priced!
LOL....Thanks for checking it out. Did they have many different flavors?

They had white, yellow, chocolate, and red velvet. However, they also have three different sizes (small's are 75 cents each, medium are 1.25 and large are 1.50 - if I remember correctly) and they didn't have each flavor in each size. For example, they only had red velvet in the large size. They do also have cookies, muffins, and some other baked goods.

I was at the Valero @ 1604 and Potranco the other day and there was this lady giving away free lunches to Pei Wei for Saturday. I was in line to pay for gas and she went right over me to the lady and her daughter behind me to offer to them. I was like, Isn’t that a B*****. I was really pissed!!

I was just at HEB+ and checked out Papa Murphy's. They were unpacking the register and the store looks like it should be in business really soon. I can't wait!!

BTW, these companies should give us (people on CD forums) all free coupons or something for all this talking up we do.. I'm sure each one of us has made all these companies quite a bit of money..

Wow! Thanks for the info. I'll have to check them out for my husband. He has a real sweet tooth. He'll probably be more interested in the cookies though.

Default Deli in the area

Paka,
Even though it's not the best deli in the world, McAllister's Deli over at 151 and 410 is not too bad. I have been a couple of times and have been pleasantly surprised. Friendly people, good service, passable carrot cake and not too far down the road. If you haven't already, give it a try.
