What is all going on at the Picnic this weekend? The sign says 'food and fun' Are there going to be vendors there? What exactly qualifies as 'fun'? GW? I don't think we made it to the one last year, or was it canceled? I don't remember.

I don't know what they have planned exactly. I know there will be vendors and stuff, games for the kids, etc. I do know that they can use some volunteers to help out!

I will be there to help. The sign says 11-4 but then food from 12-2?

They had to do that because people would show up after 4, and demand food!!! Crazy. So they had to post the hours the food would be available...unreal....

I haven't been to any of the fence project meetings - have you? I'd like to know what they're discussing....

Pretty soon some of the fences won't be standing anymore. That one fence on the South side of Military Drive West has several 1x4's tacked on to hold the fence up...and there are more areas where the fence is leaning.

anybody know why theres little goal things on the baseball field on the park? I took a couple of friends on thursday, and the place was packed with pee wee soccer players.
