I received an email yesterday about this. The judging is on the nights of December 17-19. You must register by Dec. 16th.

Still says $228 ($48 plus $180) in the legal documents being handed out to homeowners.

They went up $4. I wonder what they're going to do with the extra $13,000?
I still haven't received mine.

Thanks wc1992.

Prospective BOD members...what would you do with the money? Reduce the rates and control spending perhaps?

wc great question. I just expect any new potential BOD member to run on the Hope and Change platform. For me I HOPE there is a CHANGE because the way the BOD is being run (or not being run) is just terrible right now.

Great Question. I hope that there are some out there that will give us an answer.

It's funny that you asked about the use of money. I was thinking along the same lines today and had a thought / question. So here it goes:

Potential BOD Members- Rumors are a dime a dozen as we all know. Some of you have more than likely heard the rumor about the misappropriation of HOA Monies. If this rumor were to become fact would you share the details with us, the Homeowner's. What actions would you want to see taken against those involved?

Again my question is based upon a rumor as I have no facts to back it up. An answer would give us some insight to your character.

I find it interesting that rumors about missing money becomes a head hunting. And do you think anybody with any real knowledge of misappropriatiing HOA monies is really going to come to light? And to prove such a thing is almost impossible without a trail. And you better be right and have the proof. Slander and libel is a terrible thing.

If you have a million dollar budget(which has been said on this board)and you don't have a CPA or an audit committee, then you get what you get. Bunch of amateurs running the show......And really, they raised the HOA dues by $4.00?... Give me a break!!

I think the BOD has every right to spend the money however they like. If you don't like it, then get on the board and put your time in. Nothing like a Monday Morning QB....

And I don't live there, but I have read the by laws....
