And speaking of DTV: They're rolling out the new HD UI (in 1080p) and it's beautiful. Forced my update last night and downloaded it. It's really stunning. It should hit Texas in natural roll-out by the end of this month.

Ive had it for a few weeks now. I DO like it better than the old one, but I am not too keen on the black shading behind the progress bar.

TOTALLY tired of TWC so switched to U-verse....so far very, very happy that we did. Won't lie, there IS a learning curve...but service/speed and cost is much improved.

The same thing happened to me. I have Buckeye cable in Ohio. I thought it was very strange. Its not like I was on that channel for hours or something.

Almost a full year later and STILL thrilled with Uverse personally....IF you are happy with TWC, good. But if not, consider the change to Uverse!

Ditto for me Paka. Switched because of the Longhorn network, but after I did I discovered many reasons why i should have made the switch long ago.

I had TWC while in SA, and have ATT U-Verse here in MI. Have had nothing but problems with ATT, to the point my niece (whose service this is) took EVERYTHING out and threatened to get Bright House the next day if ATT didn't come out TODAY and get the problems (for 2 WEEKS!) fixed. (ATT pretty much refused to send someone, wanted us to do the fixes "it's so easy, all you have to do is line up the boxes, unplug from one and plug into the other") NOT! I got spoiled with TWC's "start over" feature and being able to go "live" to a show after I had rewound to see something I missed in the program. ATT doesn't have either of these two features.

I have mentioned the two features of TWC that ATT doesn't have to at least 3 ATT technicians, and they agree that that would be nice for ATT to have. They were all impressed by TWC.
