As an aside and to hopefully bring this conversation back to where it belongs:
I've been doing a lot of research and I'm pretty close to adding CM9 to my touchpad.
I've been enjoying it, but I think I might like it a little better with android on it.

and I'll be glad to answer any questions you may have. Now that I've played with it for a couple days, I think I can provide at least a little insight. However, anyone mentioning work or anything like that will not be replied to. Not sure how anyone would even think I COULD bring my personal tablet into work, but they obviously need to work on their reading comprehension skillz.. all of my computers are personal equipment and only for the use of myself and my family.

Anyhow.. CM9 is definitely buggy, but also very usable. Still doesn't have a camera or mic and hardware acceleration doesn't exist, so no Netflix or HD YouTube, but other video is just fine and I really love the live wallpaper with the Koi fish. It's from the Android Market and it looks so real that it drives two of my three dogs bonkers. However, it's a bit of a resource hog. I was actually considering selling the TouchPad with both WebOS and the CM9 version of ICS on it, just to see what I could get out of it. If it was enough, then I could get one of the new Transformer Primes that won't have the same issues as the original batches.

It's a refurb and a little more expensive than before, but it's available and it's just up the road from SA..
