There is an old insane asylum in Bethany, NY (around 45-60 minutes away from Rochester). They offer ghost tours and even will lock you in for two hours on your own! You can explore the asylum and it's very fun but creepy.

I live I dansville the castle is all messed up and the bathroom collapsed around 2011 and if you ever go in their its realm creepy. Only half of the castle gets light to it, there is still a room with beds in it and it looks like something through the beds. Next to the castle there are burnt houses and they are really creepy and when me and my friends went to the castle we herd people yelling and screaming in pain sometimes you can here a baby cry
