Rochester child care (Penfield, Pittsford: day care, home, school)

We are hoping to move to Rochester this summer (Pittsford or Penfield) and our youngest son will be in kindergarten. With kindergarten being only half days, what do two working parents do with their child the other half of the day? What options exist?

Penfield has a couple day care centers. On just past the 4 corners of Penfield, one in Panorama and one just off the 250/441 intersection. There are plenty of stay at home Mom's that offer basysitting after school as well.
