No. I set no goals. The only 'goals' I have, are on a list which is constantly revised as my "to do" list - which is a joke unto itself.

I have goals, I just don't have deadlines anymore. Deadlines are stressful. No more stress for me. At least not self-inflicted stress.

Only in regards to travel plans and balcony gardening. Living in a condo that has enough furnishings and decorations, so nothing to acquire there. Stuff got purged in the big retirement move.

Bad joints preclude any exercise program, so I just walk the beach and resolve to live with what I'm stuck with (physically).

Taken up bread baking so that's the goal today. Roasted garlic, rosemary and olive bread (no artisan bread here).

Since I have a business, I have both goals and deadlines, as well as personal goals.

Goal #1 is reversing a trend and increasing the profitability of the business. The deadline is the start of 4th quarter 2020, as I get 80% of my revenue during the holiday season.

Personal goal is to make the most of my new-found freedom.

This is how I feel about my goals now. No self inflicted stress.

Yup I always set goals. Even if it’s a small goal.

Yes, I set goals but they are different types of goals. I want to live more in alignment with my values in terms of how I spend my time, energy and money. I want to use less plastic and buy less stuff. I want to continue to increase the portion of my diet that is plant based and decrease (but not eliminate) meat consumption. When I retire one year from now, I want to exercise more, read more, do more yoga and volunteer more. And travel more. I want to live as true to myself as I can and I want to practice kindness, tolerance and compassion. I just read a book where the author talked about our later years as a sort of monastery for spiritual growth and I loved that image! But I still want to have lots of fun and adventures. So yes, definitely.

I set goals but I'm more spontaneous now than I was and that turns into being easily distracted...About three times just writing this. I have an audiobook going, got an email message, and sent an email. Staying on task is harder now.
