What I think is funny is that they seem to be into the same things we were into. I was an early boomer and we were about organic gardening, the environment, bringing cloth bags to the grocery store instead of plastic, cooking healthy meals, using natural fabrics, all that stuff.
The millenials I know--one was THRILLED when I gave her a bird feeder, another was happy when I brought compost over for his "garden", they all cook at home, and eat organic foods. Our state just passed a law that we can't get plastic bags at the grocery store and we should bring cloth bags.
Good, it only took fifty years. If these kids can accomplish the work we started, at least it's something and I just hope none of them defect and become greedy and materialistic like some from my generation did. I'll be content to just stand back and play dumb.

There are many more important things to get your knickers in a knot about. This one doesn't make my top ten.
I think the only time it would bother me is if I'm asking a legitimate question and the person said "ok, boomer" Then I'd view it as dismissive and a sign the person isn't as "woke" as they think and isn't able to actually articulate an answer.
Well. It could have been OK Geezer or something like that. Anyway it's not my fault.
