Context is king. But of course, atheists will play these silly games but putting the focus on a single verse or phrase and ignoring the overall message. What's more likely, your interpretation of a single verse is right which pretty much contradicts the vast majority of the rest of the Bible and destroys the foundations of Christianity, or that this verse has a different meaning which aligns with the Bible? For example, there term "earth" has been used to refer to the nation of Israel in other passages. You have to ignore verses like Colossians 2:16–17 which teaches that strict obedience to a code of conduct no longer applies.
If Jesus was truly saying that the law will never go away then he not say that he came to fulfill the law. The law accomplished a goal and that goal will always remain forever. That's what Jesus is talking about.
Do you think that you're going to make us suddenly forget our positions and just bow down to you and say "wow....you're right!" when you are so rude and disrespectful like that? Do you think that helps your position and endears others to you?
I mean...really? Isn't this a discussion forum? Aren't we supposed to have an actual discussion instead of just spewing hate and offensive statements?
Telling the truth bluntly does tend to make people defensive, yes. In what way could he sugar coat it so that you would actually LOOK at the truth?

Gosh Richard, if that's true He got it dead wrong didn't he, because the parts about animal sacrifice sure aren't in force, and if you think anybody in his right mind is going to reintroduce them, you don't know how far people have actually come since the bronze age.
SOMEbody seems to have their interpretation wrong if Jesus was right, huh?

Well, just because we as society have changed doesn't mean G-d has...
ABSOLUTELY right! So if God is like bronze age people perceived Him we are in deep doodoo.
Why?...Because we have distanced ourselves, as a society, from G-d?...
