some of us here have been unemployed for quite some time and some of us here have said that the lord has provided us with what we need to get by. i really dont see how it is possible for the lord to pay our bills (?) if that is what some of us mean. i really dont understand at all. please please explain please?! (im not trying to start an argument. i just dont understand how god or jesus is able to pay our bills if we are unemployed)
which means (obviously) (at least i think so) that the lord is not actually paying your bills so how do you pay your bills and what EXACTLY is the lord providing in order for you to manage? please please let me know.
why are you trying to knock christians dude what is your deal? It sounds like you need a good dose of anglo saxon work ethic, If you were a man, and acted like one you would be able to pay your bills. If you are having hard times you should reley on the help of your good christian family or your good christian church. If you have neither than that is going to be a problem and you will fall on hard times.

I don't think she is trying to knock Christians. She has real questions and is trying to understand. What has being a man got to do with being able to pay the bills???

ohhh its a she. i thought it was a he. my point is if you use your brain that god gave you, and rely on fellow christians when in hard times you can triumph over tribulations.

You see this here is the problem;
- who says she is an Anglo Saxon. Why should an African American have an Anglo Saxon work ethic? Why should a Native American? Or an Asian?
They obviously ain't Anglo Saxon.
- why should she only rely on Christians? What about Hindus? Or Buddhists? Or atheists? Or are you implying that only Christians can triumph over their tribulations?
all i said is she could use some anglo saxon work ethic. instead of complaining they should be out working. idle hands do the devils work. and im implying that christians can triumph over tribulations when they seek solice in the christian community. for where two or three are gatherd together in my name, there am i in the midst of them. -mathew 18:20
She was not complaining, she was asking how come some people here in America are poor and we (Americans) do nothing about that?
I wonder were Matthew got that from?
Probably from the Jews' OT, so it even ain't really Christian.
That came from mathews version of Jesus's gospel not from the jewsi dont think that religion nor any other could come up with a quote as meaningful as that one. And like i said before americans do somthing about the poor but they cant do somthing about ALL the poor. im pointing out a good christian with good christian work ethic (which happens to be that of the anglo saxons) and a good christian church will probably solve many of her problems. she is asking why the lord doesnt provide, i am saying maybe he has, she has not persued all the avenues.

Wow, to hell with other religions, eh? LOL
