If a woman slaps a man on the face is that considered domestic violence?

If they live together, yes.

Killer2021:

I have a lot to say about domestic violence, and I'll even say that sometimes the system is geared too much to help women.

However, I think it's one thing if a woman slaps a man and if a man hits a woman - because when a man strikes a woman in the face, he usually doesn't use an open hand. And men being stronger, having had more experience fighting as boys, etc., means that when a man hits a woman, the physical damage will be greater than if a woman slaps a man.

Now of course it's wrong for a woman to slap a man because she lost her temper or because she thinks he "deserves" it. Violence is not the answer, and other than self-defense, there are truly very few cases when it's warranted.

In the eyes of the law, if one person strikes another person and they live together then YES, it is domestic violence AND assault.

You guys should get a public defender on your case. Having women guards in your cell block contravenes your constitutional rights!

No but I saw a video where a girl slapped a guy in public (caught on tape) and was curious if the guy had any grounds in court.
