Unless you are 10/10 white guy, probably shouldn't bother
You don't need to be 10/10. You just need to post clear, flattering photos (e.g., smile, don't look like a serial killer, stop posing with other people, get rid of the faraway shots where no one can even tell what you look like, no photos of you flexing shirtless in the mirror, avoid the double chin angles, etc.) and not have anything too stupid/offensive in your About Me section. It's really not that hard.
Apparently Tinder is keeping track of your activity now because I just received a notification that said, “One week and you’ve got 1616 likes, 87 matches, and 141 messages...way to Tinder like a boss.” Meanwhile, I just got unmatched mid-conversation by someone who I thought I was having a fairly decent chat with (he had also mentioned to me that a lot of his matches won’t even reply when he initiates contact). Oh well. lol
Tinder and Bumble are probably the most overrated dating apps out there. Tinder has had a reputation of a hook up app for almost 5 years now. Bumble the girl has to reach out first and traditionally I'm big on the guy initiating conversation first. The girls I met on Bumble while living in Denver were sanctimonious train wrecks.
I'm big on using Hinge. Actually a girl who reached out to me first I'm currently seeing. We hit it off on the first and second dates.
