So fitting for Chardonnay shopping! I am lucky when a hitch like that comes along, I can't figure out how to get past it and have to fall asleep without my 100 pink Lily bulbs, or doc Martin knee high boots.

Jeez, made it to 105 in the LBC.

Thankfully it's a dry heat, but man, still wouldn't want to be out doing physical work in the direct sun.

During the four October’s I lived out there, there seemed to always be a sweltering heat wave in October. Sometimes it was in late September. It also seems the hottest day or even hottest week of the year, would be sometime in October/late September, even though it probably wasn’t.

Like, it wasn’t consistently hot for the entire month, but there was always that heat wave at some point in Late September or October!

It was around 40 degrees here today - in C, not F. It is still 91 (F) in my house. When I was walking through the rows of trees on campus after 6pm, it felt like a dragon was clearing his sinuses through the underside of the tree branches. Like, waves of even hotter heat than the ambient heat would billow over me as I walked to the shuttle stop. Next stop - insanity. Or is it Willoughby? Let's ask Rod Serling.

My chardonnay shopping item arrived today. I had to put in a line for "business" in the address field or I couldn't get the order to go through. LOL, I blanked out the rest off my address for obvious reasons.

I bet whoever fulfilled this order had a chuckle - we all need a little levity in our mundane work lives. 😉

Went and cruised down by the beach and we did some shopping today. Stopped into a little dive bar near the beach and had a couple of beers.

I spotted this silly sign that I had to snap a pic of.
