I'm getting more greys--they're not so noticeable unless you're close up. there's a pressure for women, especially, to always cover them up, but I don't want to be locked in to dying my hair forever. So for now I'm letting those hairs do their thing in public.

I just saw on social media that a friend of a friend of a friend has named their baby Maxzym, and I died a little inside. Maxim is a name, the other thing is just ugh.

Sometimes I think people aren't actually trying to be unique...but maybe they just can't spell.

Sadly, I hope you're right. That's a legit excuse.

OMG that poor kid.

His entire life ... "No, it's -zym."

Guess who's gonna opt to be called "Max"? LOL

Maybe I'm wrong, because so many people give their kids kRe8ive names these days, but yeah, I see a future of having their name constantly misspelled and mispronounced.

Some people really do have some pretty out there names. My actual name is old old school and common and pretty staid really.

I don't mind some of the newer more funny names. A lot of people take to naming there kids from TV shows, like Jax from that biker show, forget the name. But yeah if ya get too far out there it is a pain in the butt and not a fun way to go through life.

Ooooh I had a major celebrity crush on the actor that played Jax in that series, Sons of Anarchy. When I first started watching the show, I actually found it offensive. I come from conservative stock. By the end of the series I wasn't offended anymore. It's amazing what we can learn to tolerate if exposed to it long enough.
To return to topic, I love some of the new names and spellings (like Jax) but not if it makes it hard to pronounce. I often have to correct people on the pronunciation of my own full given name. Hint: it's French. Major inconvenience!
