So what's this YAC? Young Archaeologists Club? Youth Advisory Council?
That's a food item we can buy at local high school football games. It's a pretty nifty idea.

Did anyone hear about the special ed teacher dragging a special needs kids by his hair. I get that kids can get under your skin, but damn... She got the boot for doing that. There's a video still pic out there of her doing it.

Don't these people know that there are more and more cameras are in public areas these days. I mean if you're gonna abuse people you have to stay ahead of the damn law already.

I am speaking in front of a group of 350 tomorrow. They want powerpoints, too. I am not a huge PowerPoint fan. Oh well. I only have a 45 minute timeframe.

There is NO way I could do that. I only did a great job at public speaking once - and that was because I was all fired up and didn't need notes! LOL

I just had a meeting with HR and one of the higher ups. With the new FSLA overtime law, I'm going from exempt to non-exempt and am going to have to track my hours. Even though my pay and benefits remain the same, it really feels like a kind of demotion without the kind of flexibility that being exempt allows. Blergh.

I remember i won a box of candy when i was in the 1st grade.....I got up on stage in front of a school assembly in Ogden, Kansas (outside of Fort Riley), & said this little poem.

"I'm going to be a lawyer cuz i heard my momma say,,,i ought to make a good'un cos i can talk all day".

I've had to do some public speaking. Not that many people though, it can be daunting for sure. Hopefully it went well.

I ran out of time. But I had people engaged and questions were asked. I had some chuckles here and there. I kind of like that sort of thing.
