Hi Dennis58, I was wondering what the "show me" state was.
Welcome to the thread and why is Missouri called that?

Hmmm...doesn't sound familiar!

Good morning all! I just got home from work. Been drinking coffee all night, and still kinda wired-up from it. I suppose a round of thank-yous are in order this morning. First, thanks to cinderoybn for sharing her continuing story of turmoil, and triumph with us all. Thanks to MsV for the welcome, and the inquiry about MO. Thanks to pirate girl for showing back up. Thanks to Sun for answering the show-me state question. And thanks to whoever else that I didn't thank, but should have! Any of you who have never been to the great state of Missouri; you just don't know what you're missing! Of course, I've lived here all my life, and I really don't know either. But STILL, you're all welcome to come see us!! Have a great day everyone!

Sun, thanks for the link and explanation - can't rep you again yet.
Good morning Dennis58 - I've been through MO, and it was busy and lovely. I think it's more famous for Mary Tyler Moore's show than for any old foggy attitude.

And in july and august we can boast of daily heat indexes of well over a hundred degrees. And at night, our five pound mosquitos are quite a treat as well. Seriously though, if anyone is interested in a vacation here, the website is Visit Missouri So, everyone get your planners out for this years vacation!

So funny! LOL

Nope... rested my eyes after grocery shopping, and being sick of work.

Of course, grateful for having a job... so sick of the inequality there. Tired of some of us working our butts off, while the other have it as a place of leisurely, do nothing place to make money.

Lovely.

Oh well, sure we aren't the only ones who have it like that....

Whats for dinner?
