A person using those types of ancient shaming words, which most of us who aren't chauvinist pigs haven't used since junior high, is accusing someone else of being immature? Funny. Go away, junior, grownups are talking. And having sex. Lots of it. Without you. And loving every minute of it.

Actually most of the civilized world are always 'getting some' from the one individual whom we hold dearest, and will be on into the foreseeable future. What are you modern folks doing when your 'in-between lays'? Pulling out the ol playboy like a school boy?
Than what is a sl*t or wh*re? A new partner every week? Clearly you are living in a different culture than I am.
I would say that it would be someone who gives it up easily and often, with several partners. It's not like there's a set amount that, when reached in a certain amount of time, automatically qualifies you as a sl*t.
A person who has sex with one partner in 12 months is hardly promiscuous, and that's a harsh label to place on them.

In my opinion those are bitter, angry, obnoxious words that are used by judgmental individuals. I've seen girls get called that by other girls who didn't like them, and the number of guys they'd had, had absolutely nothing to do with it. And some of us who had large amounts of experience with a variety of partners for some period of life, never got called those words.
Here's one that will shock your socks off: I married a good man, and have been faithful to him for 15 years and counting, and he knew every detail of my history (he was my 34th guy partner) and never judged me negatively for it. If anything he has said he was hooked on me and thrilled by me because I was a confidant woman who knew what I wanted, not some clueless simpering virgin.
Now you know you've got me curious...what culture are you living in? United States? Urban? Rural? I can't imagine such traditional attitudes in most urban environments among normal adults.
The only woman I've ever slung such a word at was a former coworker from years ago who was bringing lots of strange men from bars back to her apartment when her kids were there. She was also leaving the kids with questionable people so she could go party. If she didn't have kids to raise, I wouldn't care what she was doing, putting herself in danger...but her 4 year old daugher was *ahem* abused, by one of her drugged up bar boys. She eventually lost those kids. She deserved to be called a lot of nasty words, the ones you used being some of the mildest.

Correct, "promiscuous" would be the correct word (has negative connotations still, but is at least a technical term rather than a shaming insult), but would hardly apply to someone having sex with a new person after an entire year.
I realize there are people who have sex less than once a year, or who only have one sex partner in their entire lives, but anyone who thinks that is "normal" hasn't looked at the research.

I've lived in middle class white culture in urban, suburban, small town, and rural America, in the north and south. His attitudes aren't "normal" in any of those environments. He thinks they are, because he's sheltered, and because nobody he encounters is going to be honest with him if it means getting called nasty words in response.

I would be surprised if 3-4 lifetime partners was not the average Plzen, perhaps 8-9 for some generations.
This is really dumb. If you are banging fugly, then your number could be in the thousands.
Farm animals? Tens of thousands.
