I only did that once, and the time I did that was with a very difficult relationship. This happened in my 30's.
We had so many problems, that I didn't want to bring her around family and friends.

I learned something from that relationship. If things are bad enough/too many problems to do social events, I have to cut it off. There is no fixing it once that realization is made.

How is that possible? Have you only dated one person and then got married?

Now we have rules about texts? If your mother sent you a text would you think she was coming on to you? The bottom line is anyone can send you a text, at any time of day.

What if you text your friend in the morning because of something like, "Hey I'm getting McDonalds before work do you want anything?" What time of day is it ok to text a friend after all breakfast is over at 10:30? What time do you stop texting a friend? My best friend texts me at anytime from 6am to midnight depending on the day .
Sorry I just had to add that . . .

Yeah that's a platonic text. But to just send a "hi" at 7am in the morning is something you send to someone who are dating

Good to know. I tend to send morning texts to friends before I start work as I have time to do it then.
