What is your thoughts on guys who update their facebook status a couple times a day. I'm sorta into this guy, but find it strange that he updates his status all day. I'm not friends with him on facebook but we casually text. Just wondering a guys or girls opinion on this.

...And? Not uncommon in today's society, you are thinking it through too much. There are some that do it too much, but in the general sense of things I have found it to be pretty normal to do that.

I've also seen female friends do it about every hour, on the hour..if not from the computer than from their phone. The only time I find such things to be annoying or wierd is if I am out with them and they are constantly doing it- THAT is annoying.

And what do you think that says about people who post every half eaten sandwich picture, every over flowed toilet picture, alerting everyone to every minute of their day ?

What does that say to you ?

What does writing Facebook commentary have to do with gender?

Is this just the stereotype of the chatty girl repurposed for the online social network?

If you're not friends with him, how do you know he updates his status so often?

I find it ironic how some people complain that people update their status too much on facebook, but some people complain that people don't contact them enough on facebook.

Some people are just FB addicts. They are big on drama, or they just have some strange need to let everyone know they are in the library or just farted.

If their setting is on "public"....you can see it even if you're not on their friends list.

^^

I think so many people are privacy-conscious these days, that very, very few people who are aware of it would set everything totally public and open to the world at large (at least from my experience).

Yeah, but why would she care enough to do that? If she looks at his profile anyway and they're friends in real life, why not just send him a friend request?

If what you claim is true, then she's in no position to insult the way he uses facebook.
