I always chuckle when I see in a listing "House boasts" then they list certain things
It make you want to say "Wow a house that talks you sure you shouldn't ask much more"
darn it, gotta go change my wording now.... Think I will be safe with "house features..."?

There is nothing worse than reading a listing description and seeing a spelling error!! I emailed one agent to tell her that "foe" blinds should be "faux" blinds.....LOL

LOL, that's funny. But even if she spelled it right (faux), why even put that word in the listing. When I see the word "faux" I think that means "fake". Is the agent telling me the blinds aren't real? That the blinds are pretend? LOL, why not just put 'blinds'???

I know....she was stating that the "wood" blinds were faux. I don't think that is a selling point to be included in the listing!!!!

ok - if we're going to bring up spelling errors, my pet peeve is seeing an agent describe a property with "bridal trails" when they mean "bridle trails". Do they think that buyers might want to get married on them?? Also, a laundry "shoot" instead of "chute". I guess there are times when I'd want to shoot my laundry instead of doing it!

I hate a listing that comes into the MLS without a picture. Usually they are out of town agents that can't be bothered to come up here and do the simplest thing, like take a picture.

I do keep a list of properties that came on the market with a blank, when they expire, they're my first priority to talk to the seller.

I don't care for photos of the bathroom toilet, especially when the seat is up. Ewwww!
