I'm hoping to find a park/playground in the brier creek area with bucket (Toddler/Infant) swings. Sadly it seems like many of the parks nearby have climbing equipment but no swings. Swings are really the only age appropriate park activity since she's not yet walking.

We do go to Pullen Park on the weekends..but I'd love to find other options in the area. Thanks!

Not exactly in Brier Creek, but Bailywick Park has toddler swings. It is definitely closer to Brier Creek than Pullen (between Creedmoor Rd and Six Forks Road just south of I-540).

There's a park attached to Brier Creek Elementary School. I haven't been, but I don't recall any park in the area that doesn't have toddler swings.

Strickland Road Park has toddler swings and a fun sand box. It's really close to 540 and Leesville Rd.

Love this park! It is somewhat newer and always clean!

Someone on this forum had directed me to a park that was connected to one of the elementary schools that had a whole area just for toddlers but I don't remember which one it was...anyone remember that?

This may be the park I was thinking of...

Ahh, the unbridled ecstasy of a toddler's first time on a swing:

He's probably mad because he's waiting for the person to put down the camera and push him! What a cutie pie!
