While everything from Palm Beach County southward and westward is decidedly not Southern, most everything north of Orlando is hicksville USA. The area between Orlando and Palm Beach County is the transition area between North and South. The Greater Tampa Bay area is a mixed bag as well. Sarasota and to the south is more like the rest of South Florida while the Northern sections of the area can feel pretty Southern.
