Exactly! Who says....oh..think I will do a seach first. 9 times out of 10 the search yields nothing.

This thread was probably started because of the today show this morning. Which high lighted the pit in Raleigh. Notice that the first post was edited by the mod.

Mitchell's BBQ in Wilson is the original pit owned by Ed Mitchell. Mitchell's has been in wilson for many, many years. The pit is his new "up scale" gig.

I will tell you, nothing beats Mitchell's in Wilson. Bills or parkers do not come close. Especally Bill's yucky buffet...or parkers rusty, leaky ceilings.

I have not been to the pit yet. So I can't comment.

The Pit is awesome. Ate there Saturday for the first time. The pulled pork, chopped pork and ribs were excellent. The sides were all great too.

Does Whole Foods down there carry the "CUE" line of BBQ and marinades? There's a Carolina BBQ sauce (at $6.00 a bottle--YIKES) that is unbelievable. We look for things to put it on/grill nightly.

But it's getting to be an expensive habit. Perhaps I should just mainline it.

The first post was edited by the . . . . oops. . . can't say that name . . . . because the OP was belittling many of the other posts of the day dealing with housing prices, bugs and snakes, schools, etc. Nothing was said about the Today Show.
