All of Morrisville is essentially low crime. The worst that happens is occasional theft from unlocked vehicles. Crimes of opportunity and infrequent. Look for what you can afford on zillow or apartments dot come. You will be fine. Good schools, local shopping, etc. Highly educated and working population. Prices can be in line with that though.
It originally seemed we were relocating to Charlotte but it is now confirmed we are headed to the Raleigh-Durham area
the office is in Morrisville so need to be within easy commuting distance to Morrisville
any neighborhood suggestions?
Looking for a clean newer 3bed 2bath 2car home in a good neighborhood (low crime)
budget is up to $2,300/mo but would like to spend less
thanks
If you choose wisely, you can easily commute to a Morrisville office from Durham, Cary, or Apex, and enjoy more amenities and less plane traffic.
I agree with others, that you need to be prepared for heavy overhead air traffic noise if you move into the center of Morrisville.
If you need a Morrisville address, you might consider the northern or southern areas on the map.
No sure about what the rental market will deliver @ $2300, though.

Check the rental section of Realtor.com . The better options within the $2300 budget seem to be in Apex. The rentals in Cary are older, and many have only a single car garage. There are more options if the OP looks at townhouses with a 2-car garage. There is a neat dog-friendly TH on Spaniel Drive, Morrisville at $2300.
When looking at the above map from the town of Morrisville, the squiggly boundaries mean that one often does not know whether one is in Cary, Morrisville or Raleigh.

I don't know if this is politically correct to say, but I'm not sure I would seek out Morrisville specifically unless I was Indian and looking to live amongst other Indians. Outside of that I agree with the other posts that Morrisville doesn't really have anything special to offer, and has some downfalls especially on the noise front.
That being said, living in Morrisville you're about as close as you can get to RTP, and it's still very convenient to everything else.

OP needs to manage expectations regarding 2 car garages.
My wife's CMax is a tight fit in our garage.
My Edge may have fit if I had no workbench, tools, etc. I do.
My F150? No chance at all if it was bare to the walls.
Undersized garages are the rule, not the exception.
19'6" x 19'6" is fairly common, and always tight.

I am certain there is a great deal of Fair Housing Law violation for any professional who would hint or advise as you say.
