It was a beautiful day today and we stopped at the flea market. There was a wide selection of things. Antiques, sunglasses, phone cases, clothes, pet items, video games, and much, much more. Some of it's outside and some inside. I would definately go back again! By the way, it's open on Sat and Sun.
I love going out there. I haven't had a chance to get there this year but hopefully I will get a day to stop by again. I love that it is open all year.
I love that flea market!
Also (I know I always post about food, haha) - the best pizza I have had in NC is sold there out of that little white pizza truck. Good stuff.
My kids love it. We've gone a couple of times this year. I think all we bought was green tea, though. LOL. I also feel like it used to be better "in the old days," but it's still got a lot of interesting stuff and some decent bargains.
Is this the kind of place where you have the vendors setting up on the blacktop and they have sunglasses vendors selling 1 pair for 10 bucks, 2 for 15 bucks, 3 for 20?
In Southern CA, we always went to the Orange County Swap Meet when we needed sunglasses, cheap t-shirts, kitschy wall art, seat covers, socks, beef jerky, and other assorted peddle-able wares.
Can you get a deep fried Snickers, or is that only at Fair time?
I'm curious how art sales are there? Are there many vendors selling hand crafted arts and crafts? How would stone sculptures, all original unique selling in the price range of $30-$200 do at a venue such as this? Any idea?
