A while back I posted some older pictures of the Flea Market that I took back in 2006. Today I took advantage of the beautiful November weather to revisit the flea market and get some new photos. There are some new vendors since my last visit. For more info about the flea market check out their website here: Link.

I've seriously gotta check out the flea market here, looks like a nice way to spend a few hours on the weekend.
Anyone know if the place that sells the deep fried pecan pie is open now like they were for the fair? My mom has been wanting to try one for a while now.
I don't think they sell deep-fried pecan pie. I've gone to the flea market for years and have not seen any "fair specialties" sold after the fair.
The flea market is fun. There are always events held there, too, of one type or another. Here is the calendar of events: NCDA&CS - N.C. State Fair Division
Thanks for the link. Well, I walked into one of those building food places that was run by a local church and they had the fried pecan pie on the menu and the lady said they would sell them during flea markets, but I haven't been out to confirm. I'll try to make it out sometime soon.

NRG great pics! That place is so cool to walk around in as one can find anything from rusty nails to snake oil there. ...and if one runs out of things to look at and purchase all they need to do is strike up a conversation with the sellers or buyers who will give you perspectives on life that you did not know where even possible! Definite must thing to do and experience.
Can't wait to come back to the triangle to stroll through the Flea Market. May the luck of the bargain hunters be with you all!
