I just want to know if there are vintage furniture vendors at the fairgrounds flea market and where to find them. Is there a map of vendors that I can access before I get there? Does anyone know if they are concentrated in one area or spread throughout?
This is a last minute trip over there, so any tips for navigating the facility/ best parking area/reliable vendors would certainly be appreciated.
Thanks

It's not that big. There is furniture outside and inside the long buildings that are closest to the corner of Hillsborough and Blue Ridge Road. Here's a map:
http://www.ncstatefair.org/map_popup.htm (Use the scroll bar at the bottom of the map.)

The buildings are called the Education building and the Commercial building. How fanciful. I don't know if anyone knows they're called that.

Easy to find...it's where the furniture is outside.

Drive in to Gate 11 and take a right after the Gov Kerr Scott building and park there.

If you like a piece of furniture, buy it, take it. I wouldn't worry about how "reliable" they are.

Actually we were there last week -- most of the furniture inside the building was refurbished / new -- there was one place right when you go in that had beautiful refinished pieces but fairly expensive.

If you're looking for old stuff you can refinish yourself head out back -- sort of like a bug yard sale. There are lots of vendors selling every type of furniture imaginable. Had fun looking at things and imagining how they could be refinished.

Trying to find name of a furniture vendor at Raleigh Flea Market. They are in the corner inside one of buildings and there is a granite vendor next to them on the left. They sell restored dining tables and chairs. Anyone know their name or know a website or where to go to find that info?

Default Head Flea!

The furniture vendor, next to the granite/marble vendor, inside the Commercial Building is "Rustic Restorations."
