Can someone suggest neighborhoods in Raleigh or Wake Forest that are considered quiet. I prefer a neighborhood where children play in their rear yards. I luv kids (mine are adult and I have a grandchild that visits almost daily) just prefer a more quiet neighborhood. I'm looking in the price range between 400 and 650k 1/2 acre or more lot.

Lakes of Rolesville-Drees- 1 acre +- stunning homes, $430 +. Since the lots are big & set back I haven't seen kids out on the street there.

We chose NOT to go there (we're in Bowling Green- 10 minutes away) b/c we wanted the crowded noisy streets & pool! But, 10 years from now? It is just gorgeous.

Thanks NYer!!!

I just performed a search on Rolesville and really liked the homes in that area. I'll definetly look more into this area.

Could someone let me know what neighborhoods are right near the Lakes of Rolesville neighborhood? I cannot afford that neighborhood but would like to live in that area so my husband's commute is not too long to Wilson,NC. Thanks!
