Aldi Wake Forest opening? (Durham: construction, shop, corporate)

I've scoured the internet trying to find an update on when the Aldi in Wake Forest is scheduled to open... The building is making progress, but I was wondering if anyone has heard/knows when it is scheduled to have its grand opening?

According to Aldi, it should be open the end of January......

Thank you! I emailed Aldi asking the question but they never responded, so I dropped it with them, and was just left wondering..

myNC - I was actually very surprised at the lack to response to this question from Aldi - I've e-mailed their corporate HQ a few times with product questions and they've always gotten back to me speedily and helpfully.

btw- I also e-mailed Trader Joe's with a product question the same day as Aldi and also received no response... until weeks later with apologies, but this time of year, they have a barrage of communications - holidays, I guess?

Maybe Aldi will get back to me in time? Meanwhile, I'll continue to shop there anyway. Having to do a little self-sleuthing to find out some information doesn't stop me from wanting to save mega-$$$ on quality products!!!!

I'd rather their employees focus on the store opening rather than emailing me to tell me one is on the way, but at least construction is speeding along fast.

Looks like the exterior construction hard work is done, and the interior is all walled up now as well........

LOL. Yeah, I'm sure the email will slow down the process since the construction worker will have to stop what he's doing to check his smart phone.

Have heard revised info than what this thread contains - opening for Wake Forest Aldi schedule for late March. This definitely seems more reasonable. I was hoping for the late Jan as another poster mentioned, but didn't think it was going to happen.
