Dont forget too, while they have paper bags right "now", they wont forever! You generally bring your own bags.
Wal-Mart and Target give me so many its hardly a problem.
Oh woe is me! We aren't having a "grand opening" so our ALDI isn't giving away paper bags. However, when all the freebies are gone and ALDI has you hooked, you'll do okay if you remember to always bring a quarter (for the cart) and your own bags. If you forget your bags, not to worry. They do sell plastic bags, with handles, for 10 cents. Better quality than the flimsy ones you get from Wal-Mart or Target. And if you're really che... er, I mean thrifty, they always have empty boxes around, yours for the taking.
I'm looking forward to checking it out even more now that I've read that some people don't return their cart. My daughter and I always look for the red buggies at Crabtree that have been abandoned. She likes to push them back to the corral to retrieve the 4 quarter reward. Looks like we'll have a new place for her to earn some money.

I didn't see anything about people not returning their carts - except for the one post about Harris-Teeter. I have shopped ALDI for three years and have only once ever seen a cart left in the lot. I fear your daughter won't be able to pay for college with ALDI quarters.
Yeah, I never see any rogue carts at the Cary Aldi either!
