It looks like our move is becoming a reality and we were wondering about the banks down there. We're currently in NJ and have TD Bank and are looking for something similar.
All we need is a simple checking account, but want a bank that has good hours (including some on the weekend), few fees and a good number of branches all over the state. Any one have suggestions?
I highly recommend finding a credit union or community bank, however. They typically have lower fees, and customer service ratings are almost always higher.
Besides, banks are sucking the marrow out of the US economy. Credit unions all the way, IMHO.
I use Wachovia, do all my banking online, no fees....no problems. I even opened my account online. I have never even stepped foot inside a Wachovia Bank.
Isn't Wachovia now Wells Fargo? We have Wells in CA...
