A year ago when I went to the Avent Ferry (I think?) location in Raleigh, they were pretty lenient. As in.... I guess she forgot to do the signs. I didn't complain.
Southpoint DMV was very lenient, to the point of giving audible hints (ie; choo choo). Very nice people there for a DMV (if you ever lived up North, you know what I mean).
I think they all know some of the sign shapes seem a little ambiguous without the content and are therefore a bit forgiving.
What if you are partial blinded by acid and need to safely navigate you car? What then ! You need to be able to tell that there are deaf children at play by the train tracks are ahead!
