To an extent. If your child dies of some treatable disease in a third world country or after extensive treatment in a first world country it's still the same loss.

I just found the noodle in the macaroni salad onto which most of the chili powder apparently fell.

wish it started on Low.
My little fan (8-10 inches?) starts on high but my box fan (medium size, bought a year ago) starts on low.

I had a small fan that I bought three or four years ago. It started on low but it died. When I went to replace it, the fan started on high. So much for starting on low.

When it’s over 110° outside my cars air conditioner only works for seven minutes at a time and then you have to turn it off for three minutes and you’ll get another seven minutes.
Three years ago, it wasn’t working at all one summer. Even after replacing every possible part on it, it only works for more than seven minutes when the temperature outside is under 100.
Tomorrow’s forecast is for 119. i’ll have to take the other car with a working air conditioner if I want to go anywhere
