Again your wrong. He doesnt go back to where he left off. He was the single highest paid player in the entire NFL and the face of a franchise with millions in endorsements.

IF he goes back he will not be handed a starting job, he will probably not make top 25 money and he will have 0 endorsements. What you all fail to give him credit for it he has lost so much more than what you see on the surface, granted he deserves to lose it, but he also has paid his debt to society and deserves to make a living.

All the folks who think a convicted felon shouldnt have anything but a job scrubbing toilets are fake. Your attitude that your so much better than them because they made a mistake in life is exactly why this country has so many damn repeat offenders. SOME people deserve a chance to live right.

Some brief info you can find online.....

In the 1990s, Christian Peter, then an All-Big Eight defensive tackle, was arrested eight times at Nebraska, where he was twice accused of rape — charges resulting in one out-of-court settlement and another conviction for sexual assault. Though the Patriots relinquished their draft rights to Peter, he would eventually play for three NFL teams.

Then there was Peter's Nebraska teammate, Lawrence Phillips, who pleaded to a brutal domestic abuse case before St. Louis took him with the sixth pick in 1996. Phillips would be arrested three times over the next 19 months. Later, the Dolphins would release him after he was accused of hitting a woman in a bar. Of course, that incident proved an insufficient deterrent for the 49ers who also gave him a shot.

Next, Rams defensive end Leonard Little. In 1998, while driving drunk, he ran a red light and killed Susan Gutweiler, a 47-year-old wife and mother. As per Little's plea deal, he got 90 nights in a work release program and 1,000 hours of community service. In 2004, Little beat another drunk driving case. Last year, he signed a new contract with St. Louis.

Jamal Lewis, a convicted drug trafficker, was suspended for all of two games.

Finally, there's Ray Lewis, who pleaded to obstruction of justice in a double-murder case. Today, he's more of a hero than ever.

Please don't tell me what my feelings are and how I view myself in relation to these people. I don't put words in your mouth, so don't do it for me.

Quite frankly the bible means nothing to me so you can keep that out of the conversation as well.

Well Well Well........all these wonderful illiterate comments on here do not surprise me at all....I say this: The most proven on here in the last 10 pages of comments is the fact that these football players who are grossly overpaid which is disgusting enough are for the MAJORITY mostly ghetto trash hoodlums and uneducated tabooooooooo. What a shame for this country that we allow our young folks to look up to and admire and try to be like these people. What a disgrace. None of these players should be allowed back on the field. Rapists, murderers, DUI drivers, guns, drugs, DOG FIGHTING. Men beating their wives and girlfriends I mean what the hell is wrong with you people. These are not people to be respected and cheered at and PAID THIS RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF MONEY TO THROW A DAMN FREAKING BALL AROUND !!!!!!!! This whole NFL AND NBA AND WHATEVER ELSE THERE IS are nothing more than a money making enterprise for GREEDY BASTARDS who could care less if the guy that can get 4 touchdowns kicked his wife in the head, beat his kid, got drunk and hit a pedestrian, raped two women or treated animals in the worst horrific way imaginable. It disgusts me and anyone that would like to see this piece of dirt trash back on the field is as sick as he is. Oh by the way, you know people that ABUSE AND MURDER INNOCENT ANIMALS ARE SICK IN THE MIND !!!!!
