Let's face it, those of you who like Palin only like her because she's hot (for a 40-something woman) and you see her as a 'MILF'. I cannot take that away from you, because I agree, in that sense. The glasses, the body, the quirky accent...it's one hell of a turn-on. I also think she's hotter now than she was when she was in her 20's.
....however, what comes out of that woman's mouth equates to a steaming, putrid, rancid pile of horse-s**t. How can you take her seriously? She is a hypocrite, at best. For someone who wants government to "step aside", she sure as hell has a record of doing exactly the opposite, even at local government level (as mayor of Wasilla, AK). I mean, if you're a true conservative, shoot for someone like Ron Paul, not a woman who preaches god, while her teenage daughter gets knocked up by some loser.

Although I don't think her daughter's pregnancy is Sarah's fault, I agree that she needs to practice what she preaches!
Also, thumbs up to Ron Paul. Now he's what I call a true conservative. Someday the real conservatives will re-claim the party that the tea partiers/god-fearing folks claimed.

Of course her daughter's pregnancy isn't her fault. That could happen to any parent. But she promotes herself as this Christian, god-fearing, all American woman. Her husband was (or still is) a member of the Alaskan separatist party, FFS.
I am not a conservative, although some of my views do lean to the right (particularly when it comes to law and order and not interfering in other countries). However, if I were a true conservative, I would not get behind some brainless charlatan like Sarah Palin. I would get behind someone like Ron Paul, who at least has stood his ground for decades (Google his voting record) and can attest to being a true conservative, non-interventionalist, unlike Palin, who wanted to ban books from a local library ("government, step aside" my ass!).

Hey, thanks. I have said for some time that when I say Pelosi in place of what the rest of you say BS about equated Nancy's words to being a steaming pile of Pelosi. Now I can add steaming, putrid, rancid pile of horse-s**t to my definition of Pelosi. That is what I call really stringing it out.

FFS back at ya. There is no such thing at the "Alaska Separatists Party". I wish that you -48 people would at least get your facts straight every now and then.
For a short time, Todd Palin was a member of the Alaska Independence Party, which is a libertarian based states rights type of organization. Mr. Palin has not been a registered member of the party for a number of years and only attended one meeting during his time as a member. He is registered in the state of Alaska as an Independent voter.
That said....Sarah Palin is most certainly an opportunist who plays to the lowest common denominator.
And if you'll look around you, you'll see plenty of true conservatives who aren't buying what she's trying to sell. Kathy Parker, for one, has provided some excellent commentary concerning the Palin fiasco.

As far as looks are concerned, she's mediocre at the very most ... certainly not somebody I would approach for a date. But regardless of how physically attractive she may or may not be, her voice, and b*tchy personality are instant turn offs! Listening to her talk is like listening to nails scratch on a chalk board.

I agree with you 100% ... and your statements echo mine completely as to how I feel about Palin. She might be a registered Republican, and she might talk out of the right side of her mouth, but she's about as much of a conservative as the Pope is Jewish! Her support of abstinence while her sex crazed daughter screws around and gets pregnant is one of many examples of her hypocrisy. Many will claim that Sarah shouldn't be faulted for what Bristol does, but a good mother would have controlled her daughter better ... and most of all, Sarah shouldn't have praised Bristol for having the illegitimate baby. A true conservative would have been ashamed of an out of wedlock birth in the family (especially by a teenager).
If anything, Sarah is a closet liberal socialist. Most of all, she's a sponger. Her grab fest at the Oscar booth should have given that away. Before that, she abused taxpayer money by allowing her kids to go on trips, which were paid for with tax dollars. She claims to be for less government & less spending, but then sends her kids to public school. True conservatives would put the kids in PRIVATE school and pay for it themselves!
