There are just about the same number of Muslims in the U.S. as Jews. Most calendars show Jewish holidays such as Yom Kippur. I don't see why they shouldn't include Muslim holidays. They deserve as much recognition as the Jews.

Hey..if people can object to the word "Negro" on the census then others can certainly object to calendar entries.

I'm just glad there's still enough Americans living in Florida that Publix will change it next year.

I do not think I have ever seen Pearl Harbor day on a calender either.

I disagree with putting Islamic New Year but this is their right. I know the right wingers are with me on this one. The government has no business telling them what they can and cannot put on their calenders.

I would just go shop at Winn Dixie. We shopped at Publix once when were were in Florida and once was enough. I will try almost anything once.
