I dont know why Im even going to question some of the racist things some of you guys are saying since Tiger doesnt even like to acknowlegde being Black, however you guys are going too far... What about that picture makes him look ghetto? He's shirtless with a black hat...
No, he is just a lonely kid living out the life his Dad laid out for him. Earl Woods, "father of the year," the guy who abandoned his first family lock, stock, and barrel. Earl Woods the guy who slept around of his second wife, Tiger's Mom. Earl Woods, the guy who drummed into Tiger that marriage (and presumably monogamy) was an outdated institution and all other kinds of wisdom. All this nurturing plus a wife/Mom who condoned his actions and a celebrity-worshipping public all to willing to discard their thinking caps.
Within this context, it is almost inconceivable that the media and public would have thought him to be squeaky clean. What were they smoking?
His Dad raised him to be a golfer, not a man, and certainly not a transcendent leader of men. There are far better role models within a 10 minute walk of where we all live.

P.S. The VF cover is just plain sad. He looks like a chicken thrusting out his chest, something one expects from an 18-year old. He's a golfer, not a UFC fighter or NFL linebacker.
