The only way it would be logical to exclude Muslims from the armed forces, would be to acknowledge that Muslims are, and for the next couple of decades will be, the only enemies we have. And that would require the admission that this is a religious war.

If we had gone to war against the USSR, an officially atheist country, would that have required that all atheists be barred from military service? Of course, atheists would probably refuse to serve anyway, because war is against their religion.

People should have the intestinal fortitude to speak out against injustice where ever they see it. And if it is People of their own faith doing the bad deed, they should scream out their objections. To be silent is the same as giving their approval.

The poll does not allow for the following:
America's military should be all christian only. That should be a requirement.
That would eliminate all problems within the military.

As long as they don't run into any Romans.

You don't really mean that, do you?

Every word of it. I live by that way of thinking. I am far from fearless, but to watch as injustice is done won't happen on my watch. Not so far anyway.

That's funny, I always thought I had a right to keep my opinions (and my religion) to myself if I wanted to. What's happened? Just because the FBI can look at the list of books I've checked out of the library doesn't mean I have to scream out their titles, does it?

I would say yes. You don't have to expect it to do any good, or to actually change anything. But to just take it, is not in my genic code. I have been taught to fight all my life. It just comes naturally to me.

I have been taught to walk away from fights. That comes naturally to me. It's a policy that has served me well.
