Even if you were right, that still represents a 10 point drop since spring! His numbers are falling faster than any president in recent history!
They will not accept the fact that people have lost faith and trust in him.

He is doing exactly what he was elected to do, his approvals are still solid. Approval right in line with his vote%, disapproval lower than McCain's vote %. Total net approval (approval- disapproval) a little more than double his margin of victory last year.
Using the average method (taking the last 5 polls and averaging them together) his approvals have been pretty consistent over the past six weeks.
Over the last six weeks his approval has ranged from 52.2% to 55.2%, and is currently at 53.4%. His disapprovals have ranged from 37.6% to 43.0% and is currently at 37.6%. His net approval (approval - disapproval) has ranged from 10.8% to 16.6% and is currently at 15.8%

Did you know that the "Palestinian" in Adam Sandler's "You Don't Mess with the Zohan" is actually a "full Jew" with Middle Eastern origins (Jew or Not Jew: Emmanuelle Chriqui, and yes she looks like she could play one too)? And I'd hardly call Paula Abdul (same ethnic background and with an Arabic last name to boot) "white" compared to a Palestinian. Again, this is very rare in the US, but not all Jews in Israel are "white men", in fact, about 1/2 aren't.
