If it does, make certain that I'm in the part that fosters entrepreneurial policies, a strong work ethic, government that can be drowned in a bathtub, strong states' rights programs, taxes which are commensurate with services received, and no government freebies.

I haven't read the entire thread, but in my opinion it is not "should" the USA break up, it is when will it happen.
Just my opinion.
Agreed, just a matter of time. The Haves (Red states) vs. Have Nots (third world Blues). UNLESS we can manage to pull together and get the present reigning thugs out of DC.
Will someone PLEASE let me know when the break up is to occur so I can ensure my family and I are on the "Right" side of the country. We will keep:
1) A love of God and Country.
2) A strong military.
3) A work ethic of you have to work to get ahead in life.
4) Taxes necessary to run the government and those severely down on their luck.
5) NO ILLEGALS EVER allowed in country. We will take legal aliens if you have something this country has a shortage of: ie: Doctor, Engineer, Architect, Specialized Teacher, Linguist, etc....
6) You take a life and your life will also be forfeited.
7) The right to own a firearm will be an inalienable right.
The other half of the country can take:
1) The tax, tax, tax, and more tax, of the people that support the country while pandering to people with their hands out.
2) Send us all your illegal aliens, and their children, we will support all of them.
3) We will allow a man to marry a dog if he so chooses. We will allow a woman to marry a rabbit if she would like.
3) There will be no borders. If people want to come to this country they may...even if they seek to do us harm. We love Al Qaeda, Osama Bin Laden, etc...if we just love them then they will like us and we will be able to co-exist.
4) There will be NO firearms allowed in the country. Even the police will run around with beanbags to throw at criminals.
5) We will have an option in our country of the right to cut off a baby's head after it is born if that is what the mother chooses. We will call that late term abortion.
6) Socialism will be the basis for our wonderful government. We will provide government run health care, banking, automotive industry, etc, etc, etc........
7) We will support generation, after generation, after generation of welfare controlled families because I'm sure they can't make it because society has wronged them sometime over the past 200 years. We are big on excuses and forgiving bad acts because we probably deserved it because of some perceived wrongdoing........
