Take all the liberals, gays, lesbos and ship them to CA with all the illegals and pray for an earthquake to split off CA from the rest of the continent. That's the break up I would like to see!

Teddy Roosevelt was a conservative. He abhorred waste, especially that of the privileged class he was brought up in. He created the blueprint which conservationists still work from.
Abraham Lincoln was another true conservative who had little tolerance for waste. Lincoln was one of Teddy Roosevelt's heroes.

My experience has been that the ones that complain the most about robber barons and white trailer trash, are usually living right beside them.
Any potential future break up of the United States will have nothing at all to do with anything that has gone on previously. Your presumed Southern Stupidity argument and race argument won't even be considered or factored in to the total equation.
Those of us that own our own, usually aren't found hen pecking the classes in this country anyway ... we're much to busy making our own way in this world to be caught up in all of the rhetoric.
If and when the nation does split, you can rest assured that you will most likely be lumped in with your own geopolitical kind and you will be free to not having to worry about your racial and political prejudice.
Your previous state, or group of states, in their new form, will not have to worry about having other previous states paying down your debt for you, and you and yours will be free to pursue your own form of socialism.
You'll be able to kick all of your low class citizens out, and pursue your own skewed perception of what you think government ought to be.
The question that always comes to my mind whenever I hear or read someone's remarks about living in a controlled state is: "What happens when your opinion becomes the unpopular one?"
If you read history, you will understand that it is our freedom to debate issues from any side, and change sides as we become more informed that make us the viable, healthy state we enjoy.
If you are not happy with the United States and its free government, rather than try to break it down to something a small mind can manage, try working to improve your understanding so you can live up to the freedoms you are offered.

If it does, make certain that I'm in the part that fosters entrepreneurial policies, a strong work ethic, government that can be drowned in a bathtub, strong states' rights programs, taxes which are commensurate with services received, and no government freebies.
At least some of us might be spared (Red states) with the separation. Otherwise, all of us are going down the tubes into a third world existence. Do foolish and short-sighted liberals really want that, just so we can all finally be pronounced "equal"? Too mired down in the Obama craziness to climb out and see the light.
