..... and not even know there was a law to break?

I have never ever wore a bicycle helmet while out riding a bike.
Who freak'n knew, the city council passed a law, that if you ride a bike, even on your own property, you MUST wear a helmet.

Cutting my grass in the afternoons during the summer, is illegal. Who knew? I do it all the time!

It is illegal here, if you put recyclables, in the trash can. No one told me.

What are some of those that you found out you could not freely do it. and it is silly.

Possess marijuana.

In all seriousness though, one that I didn't know about, and attempted, was giving lunch to our USDA inspector. They HAVE to pay for their meals or they could lose their job. It resulted from someone apparently bribing an official.

The only laws I've ever broken are the ones I got caught breaking.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Well, that is one that we all know is illegal, by now.... but choose to partake.

Ya, I can see giving a free meal to a food inspector could be considered a bribe, but who knew until you really think deeply about it and past the trying to be as nice as possible.

Jaywalking, not making a complete stop at a stop sign, and speeding, amongst many more, I'm certain. Those are all laws we know of, though.

This is fun: http://www.dumblaws.com/

I speed fairly often. Only when no other vehicles are around, the road conditions are clear, and I have an un-obstructed field of vision 360° around me.

Unfortunately, that's where the jack-booted gov't bastards install their speed traps.

I think we all break the same laws to some degree. I know I am guilty of what others are doing as well.
