I have never ever wore a bicycle helmet while out riding a bike.
Who freak'n knew, the city council passed a law, that if you ride a bike, even on your own property, you MUST wear a helmet.

Cutting my grass in the afternoons during the summer, is illegal. Who knew? I do it all the time!

It is illegal here, if you put recyclables, in the trash can. No one told me.

What are some of those that you found out you could not freely do it. and it is silly.
Smoke weed.
Shoot off fireworks (if I have them which is rare) which is illegal to do so in my state.
I will from time to time drive over the speed limit.

I got busted once for under age consumption.

I think that is about it. Or all that I can think of.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

LOL! If the cops didn't see it. I didn't do it.

wow, riding a bike without a helmet. Sounds like a cherished and agile mind of our time, who's opinion we should value [end sarcasm]

air pollution controls are quite common, though enforcement may be lax. But a cranky neighbor can report you. . .so why violate it. And its a good cause. .not to do it when they say.

so you don't know anything, you repeat about all the things you don't know, and the govt has a problem? the only issue here is enforcement

your knowledge of a law isn't important, as long as you are fined for the violation

I don't recycle.
I throw CFLs in the trash.
I take the tags off of mattresses and pillows.
I use fertilizers and pesticides in a manner inconsistent with the labeling.
I drive in the left lane sometimes when I have no intention to pass.
I flash my high beams to warn others of speed traps.
I sometimes carry a concealed weapon in the mall despite the No Guns sign at the door (but have never shot anyone)

And I cut my lawn any damn time it suits me!!

All of the above...me too.

Here's one I was unaware of. I'm gonna have to stop, I guess:

It is illegal for the owner of a bar to allow anyone inside to pretend to have sex with a buffalo.

It's only wrong if the buffalo doesn't like it. So far, the buffalo at my favorite bar hasn't complained. Besides, what else is there on a Saturday night as last call is announced? Sometimes the buffalo is the best looking one left in the place...

Good list.

I also flash my lights to warn drivers about speed traps. But it is NOT illegal.
